Our Mission
Bux-Mont Roller Derby is a Women’s Flat Track Roller Derby (WFTDA) Organization. Built “by the skaters, for the skaters,” we are sustained by our members, our supporters, and community. Our mission is to provide a safe, fun, and empowering environment for not only our skaters, but their families, friends, and our volunteers. We strive to inspire our community by participating in numerous humanitarian efforts as well as by donating a portion of our proceeds to charity at each BRD event.

Sheβs served in various Board roles over the years, and her dedication, organization, and willingness to step up have made her a backbone of this league.Whether sheβs holding the line, getting thrown at a jammer, wearing stripes, or keeping us organized off the track, weβre lucky to have her. What a great day for derby! Some of our newer skaters started the day off at Patuxent Roller Derby for their Rookie Rumble (and then drove all the way home to come work our home game!)
